Archery is a precision sport requiring poise, focus and accuracy. It is highly accessible to complete beginners with centres across the country offering trials and beginner instruction to groups or individuals. There are two main types of sport archery: TARGET ARCHERY - involves shooting brightly coloured target rings from between 20 (beginner) and 100 (robin hood) yards. FIELD ARCHERY takes place in woodland which you move through shooting at various targets postioned throughout. Archery is incredibly good fun and considering us humans have been doing it for over 25,000 years its something you have to give a go at least once.
